Internet gaming disorder is one of the modern disorders that has greatly affected the behavior and lives of adolescents, The social casework has been interested in dealing with adolescents through its various models, techniques, and professional methods derived from models that are appropriate for this category, Among these models is cognitive behavioral therapy Therefore, the study aimed to identify the psychological, social, behavioral, and academic problems resulting from Internet gaming disorder. This study belongs to descriptive analytical studies that aim to describe and analyze reality using a social survey with a deliberate sample, through which a questionnaire was applied to a sample of (350) middle school students in Assiut Governorate to identify the problems resulting from Internet gaming disorder. The results of the study concluded that there are many problems resulting from Internet gaming disorder, with psychological problems coming in the forefront with an overall average of (2.67), followed by Educational problems with an overall average of (2.50), followed by psychological problems with an overall average of (2.46), followed by behavioral problems with an overall average of (2.27) , The study also proposed a way to alleviate the problems caused by Internet gaming disorder in view a cognitive behavioral therapy perspective.
