Abstract
In light of growing economic and social challenges, social entrepreneurship has become an effective means of addressing societal problems through initiatives led by young individuals who possess both an entrepreneurial spirit and social awareness. University students are considered among the most capable groups of adopting this role due to their ambition, familiarity with modern technologies, and engagement in intellectually stimulating educational environments. This study aims to analyze the impact of digital technologies—such as applications and electronic platforms—on developing the planning skills necessary for managing social projects that seek to create sustainable social impact. The study adopted a descriptive methodology based on social survey techniques, using electronic questionnaires distributed to a convenience sample of students involved in the Entrepreneurship Club and faculty members at Assiut University. The findings suggest that the use of digital tools enhances students’ skills in planning, organization, and analysis. However, there remains a need for systematic and continuous training to maximize this impact. The study recommends intensifying digital training programs and integrating technological tools into academic curricula to empower university youth to effectively practice social entrepreneurship within a digitally advanced environment that supports sustainable community development.
