Abstract

In light of the rapid advancements across various global fields, protecting privacy and maintaining information confidentiality have become among the most critical issues confronting modern societies. With increasing reliance on technology and the growing complexity of social problems, there is an urgent need to develop effective methods that guarantee adherence to confidentiality principles in social work, particularly when working with individual cases.
This future-oriented vision seeks to anticipate the challenges social workers may face and propose innovative solutions to enhance confidentiality practices. These solutions include updating ethical standards, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines, and strengthening the professional relationship between social workers and their clients.
Accordingly, the present study aims to investigate and explore confidentiality techniques applied in individual casework. It assesses how social workers implement these techniques during professional interventions with clients and provides a qualitative analysis of 78 Arabic and international studies that address the use of confidentiality methods in working with individual cases.
Classified as a futures study, this research employs content analysis methodology using both inductive and deductive approaches. The findings culminate in the construction of a framework that reflects a future vision for enhancing confidentiality practices in social work with individual cases.
