The faculty member at the university represents Like others of scholars and thinkers, the conscious mind of the nation, who participates in an effective participation in the elevation of society and an introduction through its teaching and its impact on the successive generations of their various specializations, and for the university’s teaching staff to perform a scientific and humanitarian course, so the appropriate material and moral means must be provided to provide a state of satisfaction and psychological security that helps him to perform his important mission in educating generations, therefore, so The study aimed to develop a proposed guidance program in the group work to alleviate the Job burnout of faculty members in government universities The study is a descriptive studies, and the study relied on the social survey approach to the sample of the faculty members of Aswan University (300), and the study tool was the Job burnout measure applied at faculty members of the colleges and institutes of Aswan University. The results of the study concluded that the level of Job burnout of faculty members in governmental universities is average, and the study reached a proposed guidance program in group work to alleviate the Job burnout of faculty members in governmental universities.
