The current study aimed to determine Contributions of the method of working with groups in developing community awareness of the negative effects of climate changes, This goal includes a set of sub-goals: Determining the social, economic and environmental effects of climate changes, Determining the role of the method of working with groups, Determining the obstacles facing the social worker, Determining the suggestions, The social survey method was used with a sample of members of the Abu Arsa Village Youth Center, numbering (150) single, And using the comprehensive social survey method for the social workers in this center, numbering (6) single, The study concluded from the members’ point of view that the social effects: Increased poverty rates, Economic effects: Decreased winter crop production due to rising temperatures, Environmental effects: High temperature, The role of the method of working with groups: Participation in camps, Obstacles: Lack of resources and capabilities available, Suggestions: Providing available resources and capabilities, From the point of view of worker, the social effects: increased rates of migration from areas affected by climate changes, Economic effects: Rising food prices, Environmental effects: Increased evaporation rates and decreased freshwater supplies, The role of the method of working with groups: conducting seminars, Obstacles: lack of training courses for social workers, Suggestions: members desire to participate in activities.
