The study aimed to monitor, describe and analyze the relationship between passive aggressive behavior (as an independent variable) and the decline in the productive capacity of the academic classroom group (as a dependent variable), in order to formulate a proposed vision from the perspective of the method of working with groups to modify passive aggressive behavior and activate the productive capacity of the academic classroom group. The study relied on the use of the social survey method with the available sample “the sample facilitated by the researcher” for members of the academic classroom group who study the research project course in the fourth year at the Higher Institute of Social Service in Cairo for the academic year 2024/2025 AD, numbering (305) individuals. The study tools included the initial data sheet and included the following axes: (gender, age, place of residence), a passive aggressive behavior scale (prepared by: the researcher), and a scale of the decline in the productive capacity of the academic classroom group (prepared by: the researcher). Among the most prominent findings of the study were: There is a statistically significant direct relationship at a significance level of (0.01) between passive aggressive behavior and the decline in the productive capacity of the academic classroom group, and that the most negative aggressive behaviors are related The decrease in the productive capacity of the academic classroom group was represented by the following: hidden emotional revenge behavior, then self-deprecating behavior, followed by deliberate incompetence behavior, and finally temporary accommodating behavior.
