Mechanisms of community organization method to achieve goals of the national project to preserve the Egyptian family entity “Mawaddah”

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the level of mechanisms of community organization method to achieve the objectives of the national project to preserve the Egyptian family entity “Mawadda”, and the obstacles facing the implementation of these mechanisms and proposals for activating them, It is considered one of the descriptive studies that depend on the comprehensive social survey methodology and the sample, and was applied to (137) individuals from the officials, trainers, technical and administrative coordinators of the Mawadda project (the Egyptian Universities and Institutes Initiative), The study reached to determine the level of mechanisms (coordination, communication, cooperation, training and education, and capacity development) within the method of community organization to achieve the objectives of the national project to preserve the Egyptian family entity “Mawadda”, the most prominent manifestations of these mechanisms are existence of effective administrative coordination, clear communication channels, reliance on collective efforts, appropriate training for the target group, and educational programs to develop capacities, The study proposes enhancing community awareness through media campaigns about the importance of the Mawaddah project, and the continuous improvement of action plans related to implementing project activities, The study recommends establishing permanent units whithin universities that include specialists to implement the project's activities in the field, preparing student ambassadors for Mawaddah, and involving faculty members in integrating the project's objectives into curricula and student activities, organizing annual forums for Egyptian universities and institutes to showcase experiences in implementing "Mawadda" and exchange experiences.
