Abstract

The study aimed to test the effectiveness of the Life Model in social work to alleviate the life stresses of women forcibly displaced from the war on the Gaza Strip. The study is a quasi-experimental study, relying on the quasi-experimental approach based on a (pre-post) design for a single experimental group. The study was applied to (23) displaced women who represented the experimental group at the Al-Sumoud Shelter Center in the northern Gaza Strip. The study relied on a life stress scale prepared by the researcher. The study's terms were defined as "life model," "life stress," and "forcibly displaced women." The study concluded that there is a positive, significant relationship between the use of the Life Model and the alleviation of life stresses (material, social, familial, and psychological) for women forcibly displaced from the war on the Gaza Strip.
