The relationship between social responsibility and social anxiety for divorced women

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the nature of the relationship between social responsibility and social anxiety for divorced women and to determine the dimensions of social responsibility and dimensions of social anxiety. The study concepts were defined as (social responsibility, social anxiety). It is a descriptive study that depends on the social survey method with a comprehensive inventory of divorced women in the institutions specified for the application of the study,It assumes the existence of a statistically significant negative correlation between social responsibility and social anxiety for divorced women, and the existence of a statistically significant relationship between some demographic variables and social responsibility and social anxiety for divorced women. The study tools were determined in the social responsibility scale and the social anxiety scale. It was applied to (100) divorced women in the institutions designated for the study, and it was concluded that the level of social responsibility and the level of social anxiety were average in the study sample. It was also concluded that there was a statistically significant negative correlation between social responsibility and social anxiety for divorced women at a significance level of (0.01), The study also found a statistically significant relationship between some demographic variables (age, number of children, and who she lives with) and the social anxiety of divorced women.
