Planning to implement e-governance as a mechanism to improve the quality of health care services in government hospitals.

Abstract

Abstract
The study aimed to determine the level of application of e-governance and to identify indicators for improving the quality of health care services in government hospitals, as well as to identify the determinants, controls and needs for the application of e-governance in government hospitals. The study relied on the descriptive analytical approach, and the questionnaire was used as a study tool to collect data and was applied to a sample of (342) individuals. The study reached a set of results, the most prominent of which are: The level of application of e-governance in government hospitals requires development in the infrastructure as well as policies and procedures to provide more effective, less expensive and faster services. It was found that there were statistically significant differences between the average scores of the respondents on the dimensions of the questionnaire planning to apply e-governance as a mechanism to improve the quality of social care services in government hospitals, attributed to the variable of educational level, job and years of experience. The study developed an executive plan to implement e-governance in full and in gradual stages.
