The study aimed to determine the relationship between the use of social media and social trust for university youth. This study belongs to the descriptive studies pattern. The study relied on using the social survey method with a sample of university youth at the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Social work, Helwan University, as a model for theoretical colleges, and the Faculty of Pharmacy and the Faculty of Science, Helwan University, as a model for practical colleges, with a number of (382) individuals. Official study groups were used to achieve full distribution coverage in the data collection process. The study tools were determined in the initial data sheet and the scales of social media use and social trust. The study concluded that the level of social media use among university youth as a whole is average, and that the level of social trust among university youth as a whole is average, and that there is a statistically significant direct effect relationship between the use of social media and social trust among university youth. There are statistically significant differences between the responses of university youth according to the study division (regular division/affiliation division) regarding their determination of the level of social media use among university youth in favor of the responses of university youth in the regular division.
