The study aimed to determine the level of use of participatory work strategies for NGOs in the development of local communities, and to identify obstacles and proposals for the use of participatory work strategies for NGOs in the development of local communities. The study relied on the use of the comprehensive social survey methodology for the members of the boards of directors of development NGOs in Aswan, numbering (138) individuals, and the study tool was a questionnaire for members of the boards of directors of NGOs on the strategies of participatory work of NGOs in the development of local communities. The results of the study found that the level of the study sample in the strategies of participatory work came At a high level, where the arithmetic average reached (4.07), and the indicators of this according to the order of each strategy separately are as follows: the first order is the strategy of collaborative assessment of community needs, followed by the strategy of community mobilization and mobilization, then the strategy of building community alliances, followed by the strategy of participatory planning, and finally the strategy of local leadership development, as well as There are statistically significant differences in the academic qualification variable according to the participatory work strategies of NGOs in the development of local communities, i.e. the higher the degree of the members of the Board of Directors of NGOs, the higher they have participatory work strategies.
