The Role of Social Justice in Achieving Social Protection to Reach Sustainable Development in the light of Oman Vision 2040 (Social Protection Funds in Dhofar Region an Example)

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the dimensions of social justice to achieve social protection through a set of dimensions (justice in available opportunities, distribution of income, distribution of services, and equality of rights, and equality of responsibilities. It also aimed to determine the relation between the dimensions of social justice and the level of services provided by Social Protection Funds.
To achieve this, the researcher used a comprehensive social survey of people (22) who are working in Social Protection Funds in Dhofar Rejon. The result of the study revealed the validity of the hypothesis that there is an appositive, statistically significant relationship between the dimensions of social justice and the level of services provided by Social Protection Funds. The study came up with some recommendations such as: the Social Protection Funds needs to maintain the level of services provided, consider the proposal of the beneficiaries and pay attention to their problems, as well as continuously monitor indicators of the sustainability, efficiency of the programs provided to achieve their goals and vision.
