Organizational Restructuring to Achieve Institutional Excellence in NGOs

Abstract

The study aimed to monitor the reality of organizational restructuring in civil society organizations, determine the level of achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations, and determine the relationship between organizational restructuring and achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations. This study belongs to descriptive studies, and relied on using the comprehensive social survey approach for officials in civil society organizations in Aswan Governorate, numbering (142) individuals. The researcher applied a questionnaire form for officials about organizational restructuring to achieve institutional excellence in civil society organizations. The results of the study proved that the level of organizational restructuring in civil society organizations as a whole is high, as it came in the following order (restructuring leadership, restructuring the organizational structure, restructuring services, restructuring human resources), and the level of achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations as a whole is high (innovation and continuous development, financial excellence, competitive capabilities, technological excellence). In the end, the study proved that there is a statistically significant direct relationship between organizational restructuring and achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations, and that the most dimensions of organizational restructuring related to achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations were represented in the following (restructuring services, followed by restructuring Restructuring human resources, then restructuring the organizational structure, and finally restructuring leadership).
