Abstract

The study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a training program for social workers to improve their knowledge and skills in applying the case management model in the field of minor care. The study relied on the quasi-experimental approach, where the specialists were evaluated before and after their participation in the training program using a pre- and post-test. The program was implemented at the Minors Affairs Authority. The results showed statistically significant differences between the pre- and post-measurements, as the specialists witnessed a noticeable improvement in their skills and knowledge related to case management, especially in the areas of assessment, planning, and coordination between the various entities that provide services to minors. The study also showed a clear increase in the ability of specialists to apply effective strategies to solve minors' problems. The participants expressed their satisfaction with the program, stressing that the training greatly helped them enhance their professional competencies and increase their knowledge about the steps of applying the model. The study concluded that the training program was effective in developing the knowledge and skills of social workers working with minors, and the study recommended the need to repeat similar programs on an ongoing basis to improve professional performance and ensure the provision of high-quality services for minor care.
