The Effectiveness of The Educated Village Project in Achieving Family Educational Empowerment for Women in Rural Communities

Abstract

The Educated Village Project is one of the important comprehensive projects in addressing the problem of illiteracy among women in rural communities, as it includes the family as a whole and the interaction surrounding it. The study aimed to measure the effectiveness of the Educated Village Project in achieving family educational empowerment for women in rural communities, this study is considered an evaluation study, and the study relied on using the social survey method with a sample of the beneficiaries of the Educated Village Project for rural women in Assiut Governorate, numbering (378) individuals. The study tool was a measurement form for the beneficiaries of the Educated Village Project. The results of the study concluded that the level of effectiveness of the Educated Village Project in achieving family educational empowerment for women in rural communities as a whole is high, as the arithmetic mean reached (2.68), and there are statistically significant differences between the responses of the beneficiaries according to the educational level with regard to their determination of the level of effectiveness of the Educated Village Project in achieving family educational empowerment for women in rural communities. The study reached a proposed future vision from the perspective of the community organization method to increase the effectiveness of the Educated Village Project in achieving family educational empowerment for women in rural communities.
