Requirements for the practice of writing therapy in a social work context to relieve stress among secondary school students

Abstract

The current study aimed to clarify the necessary requirements, conditions and requirements for social workers to practice the writing therapy model in secondary schools to alleviate many of the pressures facing secondary school students. The current study is one of the descriptive analytical studies that aims to describe and analyze the requirements and requirements for social workers to practice the writing therapy model in alleviating pressures among secondary school students. The current study relied on the social survey method with a sample, which is the appropriate method for the type of study, to achieve its objectives and to answer its questions. A number of (120) social workers from a total of eight municipalities in Qatar responded to the study tool (questionnaire).
The study reached a set of results, the most important of which are: that the study sample members agree on the cognitive requirements for practicing writing therapy in the context of social work in relieving stress among secondary school students. It also became clear that the study sample members agree on the skill requirements for practicing writing therapy in the context of social work in relieving stress among secondary school students. The study also showed that the study sample members agree on the value requirements for practicing writing therapy in the context of social work in relieving stress among secondary school students. The study recommended the necessity of providing the tools, requirements and activities necessary for practicing the writing therapy model.
