Institutional Agility as an Approach in Planning for Human Resource Management Development in Egyptian Universities

Abstract

Objectives: The study aimed to determine the level of institutional agility in Egyptian universities, assess the development level of human resource management in Egyptian universities, identify the relationship between the use of institutional agility and the development of human resource management in Egyptian universities, identify the difficulties facing the use of institutional agility in the development of human resource management in Egyptian universities, propose suggestions to activate the use of institutional agility in the development of human resource management in Egyptian universities, and devise a proposed implementation plan for developing human resource management in Egyptian universities using institutional agility.
Methodology: This study is descriptive and relied on the scientific method using a comprehensive social survey method targeting officials in the central human resources administration at Assiut University, totaling 134 individuals.
Results: The main hypothesis and its sub-hypotheses were accepted, indicating a statistically significant positive correlation between the use of institutional agility and the development of human resource management in Egyptian universities.
Conclusion: The study reached a proposed executive plan to develop human resource management in Egyptian universities using institutional agility, which includes the following stages (goal setting, planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation).
