Life pressures and their relationship to the five major factors of personality (a comparative study on a sample of working women in rural and urban areas) from the perspective of role theory in case work

Abstract

The current study aimed to determine the relationship between life pressures and the Big Five factors of personality among working women from the perspective of the theory of the role in serving the individual, and also to reveal the differences in the degrees of life pressures for working women in urban areas and the degrees of life pressures in the countryside, as well as the differences in differences between working women for the Big Five factors. For personality, the study sample consisted of 50 women. The researcher used the Life Stress Scale for working women and the Big Five Personality Factors Scale. The results of the study resulted in a statistically significant relationship between the relationship between life pressures and the Big Five Personality Factors for working women from the perspective of role theory social caseworkGiven what previous studies have shown of the complexity of women’s daily lives in contemporary societies and a source of multiple problems and challenges, where personal life conflicts with professional and social needs, understanding and managing the five major factors for working wives helps them achieve an ideal balance between professional and personal life and achieve success and happiness on both sides. Therefore, the research problem can be formulated in a main question:
What is the relationship between life pressures and the five major personality factors among working wives within the framework of the theory of the role in serving the individual?
