This study seeks to identify the obstacles to using training camps to develop innovative thinking for social work students، which are due to each of the students themselves، groups ، the group pioneers، and the camp program. Then the study put group of proposals to activate the use of training camps in developing innovative thinking for social work students. This study is belongs to Descriptive analytical studies ، and using in it the Social survey in kind . Then the study was applied to the fourth year students of the College of Social Work، who numbered (363) and to group pioneers، who numbered (47). The study reached a set of recommendations، including encouraging students to actively participate in camp activities، conducting interactive discussions with students about the activities of the camp’s program، taking into account objectivity while evaluating students، achieving justice in distributing grades، and transforming students from a tool for implementing the camp into an innovative tool for renewal and development activities in the camp program، as well as conducting courses. Training for group leaders to provide them with experiences and skills that will benefit them when operating a camp.
