The Organizational Prowess of Women's NGOs and The Development of Social Services for Widows in Informal Communities

Abstract

It is clear that women's NGOs working in the field of caring for widows play multiple roles in order to develop their awareness of the role of NGOs and help them obtain social services. Therefore, this study aimed to:, determine the level of development of social services for widows. Women’s NGOs in slum communities, and determining the relationship between the organizational prowess of women’s NGOs and the development of social services for widows in slum communities. It was shown through the results of the field study: The result of the t-test indicates that the effect of all the independent variables, which are “investing the resources available in women’s NGOs, exploring external resources supporting women’s NGOs, and the flexible organizational structure of women’s NGOs” on the dependent variable “developing services.” “The social impact of widows in slum communities” is considered a significant and statistically significant effect at the level of significance (0.01), and through the values of the Beta coefficients.
