Abstract

The peer group constitutes an educational environment that influences the individual at different stages of his life. Peer relationships are among the important social factors affecting the individual. Therefore, their influence cannot be neglected, but rather they can be used to achieve the goals of the educational process. Therefore, this study came to identify the influence of peer relationships on The academic performance of female students, by identifying the impact of peer relationships on academic integration, academic ambition, and academic decisions of female students. The researcher used a social survey approach to sample female students from the College of Social Work, Princess Noura bint Abdul Rahman University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through an electronic questionnaire that was applied to A sample of female students from the third level to the eighth level at the College of Social Work. The sample size reached (401) female students. The results of the study concluded that there is a statistically significant, direct, influencing relationship between peer relationships and the academic performance of female students. There is also a statistically significant, direct, influencing relationship between the relationships Peers's academic integration, academic ambition, and female students' academic decisions.
