Abstract:
The study aims to identify psychological Burnout and its relationship to the job performance of a sample of faculty members in colleges and institutes of social casework, as people live in an era in which pressures have increased and their causes surround them from all sides, especially the pressures they are exposed to in their field of work, which lead to physical and emotional exhaustion. Mental and social, its manifestations include physical, emotional and behavioral exhaustion, work pressures, in addition to a lack of personal achievement.
This study belongs to descriptive studies, and was applied to a number of (100) faculty members participating in the research, and the (psychological burnout scale) and (job performance scale) prepared by the researcher were used. The results demonstrated the existence of a strong inverse relationship between psychological Burnout as a whole and job performance among faculty members in colleges and institutes of social service, as the Pearson correlation coefficient reached (-0.86), which is a strong inverse relationship significant at the level of (0.01), which is higher than the tabular R value, which means The more psychological Burnout among faculty members increases; Their job performance decreased, and this result has a degree of confidence (0.99) and a probability of error (0.01).
