Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the roles of the social worker as a general practitioner in achieving school discipline for middle school students by determining the effectiveness of the social worker’s roles as a general practitioner in achieving school discipline, identifying the obstacles that limit the effectiveness of his role in achieving school discipline for middle school students, and identifying proposals to overcome them. This study was applied. The study was also applied to a random sample of students to determine the effectiveness of the roles of the social worker as a general practitioner in investigating school discipline on a sample consisting of (111) individuals. This is done by using a questionnaire form using the social survey method, a comprehensive inventory method for social workers, and a sampling method for student, The study reached a set of results, which are that there are obstacles that prevent the social worker from carrying out his role in achieving school discipline for middle school students, including his preoccupation with administrative work, not providing the necessary place and capabilities to practice activities, and students’ lack of awareness of the school discipline regulations. It concluded that there are proposals that would activate the roles The social worker is responsible for achieving school discipline, which is students’ knowledge of the school discipline regulations since they join school, providing sufficient places for students to practice student activities, activating reward and punishment procedures to activate their school discipline, Keywords (evaluation - school discipline)
