Abstract

: The study aimed to test the effectiveness of a professional intervention program based on meaning therapy to improve the quality of life for homeless children. The main hypothesis of the study was: There are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pre- and post-measurements for the cases of the experimental group with regard to improving the quality of life for homeless children in favor of the post-measurement. This study belongs to the type of studies measuring the return of vocational intervention, and it relied on the use of a quasi-experimental approach through a quasi-experimental design for one experimental group. The vocational intervention program was applied to a number of (10) homeless children at the Resala (May Life) Foundation. The scale was used as a tool to measure the quality of life among the study sample, and the results of the study demonstrated the validity of the main hypothesis of the study and its sub-hypotheses1. There are significant, statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pre- and post-measurements for the experimental group cases with regard to improving the subjective quality of life of homeless children, in favor of the post-measurement.
2. There are significant, statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pre- and post-measurements for the experimental group cases with regard to improving the objective quality of life for homeless children, in favor of the post-measurement.
