The role of the Social Caseworker in using social guidance to involve middle school students in school activities

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the role of the individual service specialist in using social counseling skills and methods for the participation of middle school students in school activities, identify the obstacles facing in achieving this, and identify the necessary proposals to overcome these obstacles facing the role of the individual service specialist in using social guidance to participate with middle school students. Preparatory school activities. This study belongs to descriptive studies, and relied on the scientific method using the comprehensive social survey approach for social workers working in government preparatory schools in Assiut Governorate, numbering (80) individuals. The questionnaire tool applied to social workers working in government middle schools in Assiut Governorate was used, and the study concluded that the level of the roles of social workers when using social counseling with middle school students as a whole was high, as the arithmetic mean reached (2.58), and the indicators for this are according to the order of the arithmetic mean: where The methods used by the social worker came in first place with a arithmetical average of (2.58), followed in second place by the skills that the social worker possesses and also the obstacles he faces in exercising his professional role with a arithmetical average of (2.57)
