Social engineering revolves around the psychology of persuasion, through which the human mind is targeted, and the aim is to gain the trust of people to abandon their caution, and the current study seeks to develop university youth's awareness of the dangers of social engineering, using the semi-experimental study and relying on the experimental method through an experimental group (32) university youth volunteers in the Red Crescent Society using one experimental group with a pre-test and then a program, and using with them the awareness scale of the risks of social engineering.
The results of the study found that the main hypothesis is correct that there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the pre-and post-measurement of the experimental group of university youth concerning the practice of a program in the way of working with groups and educating university youth about the dangers of social engineering in favor of post-measurement.
