Electronic governance and developing the performance of employees in school administrations

Abstract

Interest in electronic governance and developing the performance of employees in school administrations is considered one of the important issues that has received attention from those concerned with the educational system in the country, as a result of the rapid transformations and technological developments to which education is exposed in the traditional method, but they must apply electronic governance to keep pace with the technological revolution, which is reflected in the development of the performance of their employees, The study aimed to determine the relationship between electronic governance and developing the performance of employees in school administrations. This study belongs to descriptive studies using the approach of a comprehensive social survey of employees For employees of the Directorate of Education in Cairo and its affiliated departments, as well as employees of the boards of directors of schools that have obtained quality, their number reached(102), by applying a questionnaire form for employees in school administrations, The study found that the level of e-governance dimensions is high, as it came in the following order (electronic participation, electronic accountability, electronic transparency, electronic information provision). It also proved that the level of developing the performance of employees in school administrations is high, as it came in the following order (Justice, participation in decision-making, regulations and order, efficiency), In the end, the results of the study demonstrated that there is a direct, statistically significant relationship between electronic governance and developing the performance of employees in school administrations.
