The current study aims to determine the requirements for developing the professional performance of social workers to enhance the culture of cyber security among university youth groups, the difficulties that prevent the development of the professional performance of social workers to enhance the culture of cyber security among university youth groups, the most important proposals necessary to achieve them, and arriving at a proposed training program for social workers working with Youth groups to improve their professional performance. The current study is considered one of the analytical descriptive studies, and the study relied on a comprehensive social survey approach for social workers working in youth welfare departments in addition to social workers in the Central Youth Welfare Department at Assiut University, which consists of (60) individuals, and the study was applied in youth welfare departments at Assiut University in the period from ( September 2023 AD to October 2023 AD). The results demonstrated that the most important requirements necessary to develop the professional performance of social workers to enhance the culture of cyber security among university youth groups were arranged in descending order as follows: cognitive requirements, then skill requirements, and finally value requirements. As for the requirements as a whole, they were at a high level, as the overall weighted average for the requirements as a whole was (2.63).
