The current research aims to determine the professional requirements for social workers to reduce the problems of electronic blackmail for members of student family groups. These requirements were represented in identifying a set of requirements (cognitive, professional, value-based, and training) for social workers to reduce the problems of electronic blackmail for members of student family groups, and arriving at a set of proposals. To activate the role of social workers to reduce the problems of electronic blackmail of members of student family groups, this research belongs to descriptive studies based on the scientific method using a social survey approach with a sample of social workers working with student families in a number of university colleges, and they number (40 singles).the research tool was a questionnaire form applied to social workers working with student family groups, and the results of the research concluded that the level of professional requirements for social workers to reduce the problems of electronic blackmail for members of students family groups came in first place (skilled requirements for social workers), followed by the second is (the value requirements of social workers), while in the third place is (the training requirements of social workers), and at the end of the ranking is (the cognitive requirements of social workers).
