The study aimed to determine the level of application of strategic management in civil society organizations, determine the level of institutional excellence in civil society organizations, determine the relationship between the application of strategic management and achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations, identify the difficulties facing the application of strategic management in achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations, and identify proposals. Activating the application of strategic management in achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations. This study is one of the descriptive studies that relied on the social survey approach with a sample of officials in the most active civil society organizations in the city of Assiut, Assiut Governorate, numbering (79) individuals. The study found that there is a statistically significant, direct relationship between applying strategic management and achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations. There is a statistically significant, direct, and effective relationship between strategy formulation and achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations. There is a statistically significant, direct, and effective relationship between strategy planning and achieving institutional excellence in organizations. Civil society: There is a direct, statistically significant relationship between implementing the strategy and achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations. There is a direct, statistically significant, direct relationship between evaluating the strategy and achieving institutional excellence in civil society organizations.
