Community dialogue as a strategy in the method of community organization to determine the service needs of the poorest villages in Assiut Governorate

Abstract:
The study aimed to determine the reality of community dialogue as a strategy in community organization method to determine the service needs of the poorest villages in Assiut Governorate and Determining it's tools, importance, supporting factors, obstacles that facing it's implementation, and proposals for activating it. It is considered one of the descriptive studies that relied on the social survey methodology for the members of the Community Participation Committee and the members participating in the community consultation sessions, which numbered (68) members. The study concluded that the reality of community dialogue was represented in an attempt to find a common understanding of the service needs of the poorest villages, and holding periodic meetings with the concerned parties to determine the needs of the poorest villages, As for it's tools, it was represented in periodic meetings, consultative sessions, and group discussions,
Regarding it's importance, it provides an opportunity for consultation on identifying service needs in the light of the available capabilities. One of the most important factors supporting the dialogue is the representation of all concerned parties to participate in it. As for the obstacles, the poor culture of dialogue among some of the participating parties, and the lack of information reaching all parties with the same specifications, and for proposals It was represented in developing a culture of community dialogue as the most important mechanism for achieving community participation, and establishing clear channels of communication between the participating groups.
