The study aimed to test the effectiveness of a training program to reduce the level of professional burnout for social workers working with patients with depression. This study belongs to the pattern of studies measuring the return of professional intervention, and relied on the use of the semi-experimental approach through the semi-experimental design of one experimental group. To measure the level of professional burnout in the study sample, and the results of the study proved the validity of the main hypothesis of the study. There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre and post measurements of the cases of the experimental group with regard to reducing the level of professional burnout among social workers working with patients with depression in favor of the post measurement and its sub-hypotheses. There are significant differences Statistically between the mean scores of the pre and post measurements of the experimental group cases with regard to reducing the level of emotional exhaustion, stagnation in human interaction, and lack of personal achievement among social workers working with patients with depression in favor of post measurement
