The concept of sustainable development has always been associated with the concept of environmental protection, with the emergence of another urgent need that emerged as a result of both global and local interest, which is spreading the culture of sustainability among all members of society and university youth in particular in order to protect the environment and achieve environmental sustainability in light of climate changes. The Egyptian state has paid attention to confronting climate change, as it is an issue of concern to humanity and a ruling issue by all standards that greatly calls for the world to confront it with utmost decisiveness and speed during the coming period. From this standpoint, Egypt hosted the COP27 conference in Sharm El-Sheikh in November 2022. To put in place all executive frameworks to confront the issue of climate change because of its negative repercussions on the local and global economy, which affect sustainable development. The study aimed to identify the awareness of university youth (cognitive aspects, emotional aspects, and behavioral aspects) of climate change in the light of achieving the goals of sustainable development 2030, This study belongs to the style of descriptive studies. The study was applied to a random sample of students from the Faculty of Social Work, Assiut University. The study reached a proposed vision to develop university youth's awareness of climate change in the light of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals from the perspective of social work.
