Elderly issues receive attention, as many countries have become providing integrated programs of social care for them, and the social work profession has taken its role, helping the elderly to satisfy their needs and restore their abilities to carry out their roles to adapt to their environment and the acquisition of new experiences. The study aimed to find mechanisms for activating group activities from the perspective of the group work method in the Institution for Blind Elder Women. This goal is achieved by achieving the following sub-goals: Determining the reality of group activities for blind elderly women, identifying obstacles facing group activities, and identifying the most important suggestions for activating group activities for blind elderly women. This study belongs to descriptive analytical studies, and the researcher used the case study approach. The study relied on two tools: the first is an interview form with blind elder women, and the second is a semi- structured interviews with the institution’s employees.
