Abstract

The current study aimed at revealing the relationship between the effectiveness of the use of group therapy and the reduction of social withdrawal in groups of elderly people, and the study selects for the experimental reason studies that used the experimental approach using (one group) and the scale (social withdrawal) was used by the researcher, and the study and activity theory were proven As a theoretical guide, the researcher designed a professional intervention program using group therapy, which included many humiliating methods and tactics and strategies. jagged, The field of caring for the elderly and caring for them has become one of the main areas in contemporary societies. Providing material components only, but the umbrella of services for the elderly extended to all aspects, providing happiness, mental health, and psychological and social compatibility for the elderly, and raising their spirit, It is not an interest in an age group or an interest in studying demographic changes or spatial needs. It extends to considerations related to social and economic development and has profound effects on the comprehensive development process of society. Therefore, caring for the elderly is a necessity imposed by the nature of the modern era, which is characterized by a high level of age .
