Abstract

The current study aimed at determining the life skills of university students with motor disabilities as a main goal and subsequent sub-goals with regard to (self-awareness, effective communication, coping with stress). This study belongs to the descriptive studies, as it came up with a proposed conceptualization for the social worker use of the life model in the development of life skills for groups of university students with motor disabilities, The study relied on a comprehensive social survey approach for university students with motor disabilities, members of the Center for Persons with Disabilities at King Abdulaziz University. The study relied on a questionnaire prepared by the researcher. In "I know my abilities and direct them to achieve my goals", and that the most important life skills for university students with motor disabilities related to effective communication were "I accept constructive criticism", and that the most important life skills for university students with motor disabilities related to coexisting with pressures were "go out shopping and buy simple things to make myself happy."
