Abstract

Women's Awareness of Modern Family Awareness Methods in Supporting Social Values: a Afield Study on a Sample of Saudi Female Heads of Households
Abstract;
The study aimed to reveal the extent to which Saudi women are aware of modern family awareness methods in building social values, by identifying modern family awareness methods and skills prevailing among Saudi families. To achieve this goal, the study tried to monitor the areas of interest of Saudi heads of households in family awareness, and the role of such awareness in strengthening national security, confronting intellectual extremism, building the national character, and promoting the values of citizenship among children. In its analyzes, the study relied on a social gender perspective, in addition to relying on the analytical descriptive approach, by drawing a deliberate sample consisting of (150) female heads of household selected from three cities: Jeddah, Riyadh, and Qassim. The results of the study revealed that the general average awareness of women in the study sample of modern family awareness methods was an average of 60% and an arithmetic average of 1.80. The study also revealed that women's awareness in the study sample is linked to modern family awareness methods and their awareness of the nature of their social roles from a gender perspective, which is gender awareness. The study also recommended that Saudi women heads of households need intensive training programs on increasing their awareness of modern family awareness methods.
