Abstract

The most important characteristic of the social work profession is that it is an applied profession and not a theoretical profession. It is concerned with the applied side through the professional practice that students acquire through field training, which is one of the sides of the triangle of professional preparation for the social worker.
Supervisory leaders in field training represent an essential and important pillar in the training process, as they are the means and tool used to transfer experiences, skills and knowledge to students and link them to field training plans. Therefore, the problem of the current study is determined “Leadership Competencies and Achieving Administrative Empowerment for the Supervisory Levels in Field Training in Social Work Education Institutions”. This study belongs to the type of descriptive studies. The study relied on the use of the social survey approach with the available sample, "the researcher's soft sample", for the supervisory levels in field training at the Higher Institute of Social Work in Cairo, and they numbered (146) individuals. The study found the validity of its main hypothesis.
