This study aimed to determine the nature of the relationship between the feeling of stigma and the family functioning of women debtors who are released from prison. It also aimed to come up with indicators of a proposed role to be practiced in alleviating the feeling of stigma and improving the family functioning of the released women debtors. The study concepts were determined in )feeling of stigma and family functioning). The sample of this study consisted of (45) released women debtors. This study belongs to the descriptive studies to determine the nature of the relationship between two variables, i.e., the feeling of stigma and the family functioning of women debtors, implementing the social survey method based on intentional sample. The tools of the study included demographic information questionnaire, stigma scale, and the family functioning scale that has four dimensions (solidarity, interaction, commitment, and intrafamily coping strategies(. The study results concluded that there is a statistically significant inverse relationship at a significant level (0.01) between the feeling of stigma and the family functioning of the released women debtors.
