Using the Rehabilitative Preventive Approach in the Group Work Method to Modify Youth Attitudes towards Committing Crimes. (A quasi-Experimental Study Applied to Students of the Higher Institute for Social Work in Mansoura)

Crime is a problem in societies from the beginning of its formation to the present day, crime is still a social phenomen on that preoccupies people, societies and countries, on of the most prominent chronic problems in the world, because of its con sequences for society in general and the attitudes of individuals in particular, there fore the current study aimed to verify the validity of the main hypothesis and its effect in testing the effectiveness for the preventive rehabilitative approach in the group work method to modify youth attitudes, from this main objective the following sub-objectives emerge, it's a test of the effectiveness of using the preventive rehabilitative approach in the group work method to modify the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral attitude of young people to wards committing crimes, this study belongs to the semi-experimental studies that used the experimental method using the pre and post measurement method using the pre and post measurement for two groups, a control and an experimental group, of the male students in the third year at the Higher in statute of social work in man soura, the study population is (30) individuals. The study applies the scale of youth attitudes towards committing crimes, and analyze the content of the periodic reports of the experimental group, the results of the study reached the validity of its hypotheses between the pre and post measurements of the experimental and control groups, on the scale of youth attitudes towards committing crimes in favor of the experimental group.
