Attitudes of university youth towards participating in development initiatives

The current study aims to determine the level of university youth's attitudes towards participating in development initiatives, through the following dimensions: the cognitive trend - the emotional trend - the behavioral trend - the value trend - the technological trend. In addition, identifying the difficulties that face supporting university youth’s attitudes towards participating in development initiatives. This study is a descriptive study and relied on a sample social survey approach for university youth at the Higher Institute of Social Work in Cairo for the academic year 2021/2022, and their number is (371). One of the most important results of the study is the validation of the main hypothesis of the study, which is "the level of attitudes of university youth towards participating in development initiatives is expected to be high. "As well as accepting the third hypothesis of the study, which states that "there are substantial, statistically significant differences between the responses of university youth according to the academic group with regard to their determination of the level of university youth's attitudes towards participating in development initiatives." As well as accepting the fourth hypothesis of the study, which states that "there are substantial statistically significant differences between the responses of university youth according to their place of residence with regard to their determination of the level of university youth's attitudes towards participating in development initiatives."
