This study aimed to identify the requirements for integrating palliative care into social work education programs and courses from the point of view of a sample of faculty members specialized in working with individuals and families in departments, colleges and institutes of social work in the Arab Republic of Egypt, consisting of (92) faculty members, and the study relied on the survey method The researchers designed a questionnaire to collect data and applied it after verifying its validity and reliability, and the results of the study indicated that the integration of palliative care into social work education programs and courses begins with the introduction of topics in specialized courses in working with individuals and families, then separate courses, then professional degrees, and the study found To the most important cognitive, skill and value requirements that must be included in palliative care education programs and courses in social work, arranged according to degree of their importance from the point of view of the faculty members, The results also revealed the difficulties that may face the process of integrating palliative care into social work education programs and courses, and proposals to confront these difficulties. The study recommends paying attention to providing social work students at all educational levels (bachelor and postgraduate studies) with the knowledge, skills and values necessary to qualify them to practice palliative care.
