Abstract

The importance of the current research is determined by the international, regional and local interest in voluntary work, contributing to giving young people positive attitudes towards voluntary work. The basic labor force in the community to develop the urban community, and then care and attention must be paid to them so that development and increased production are possible. The importance of participating in voluntary work in Egypt, Directing the interest of young people to the importance of volunteering for the development of urban society and increasing their voluntary awareness. It aims to determine the level of youth’s attitudes towards volunteer work for the development of urban society, identify the difficulties facing supporting youth’s attitudes towards volunteer work for the development of urban society, and identify proposals to strengthen youth attitudes towards volunteer work for the development of urban society. To reach proposed planning mechanisms to support youth attitudes towards voluntary work for the development of urban society and prepares This study is a descriptive study. The study relied on the use of a sample social survey method for young people attending the East Helwan Youth Center in Cairo Governorate, and their number was (254) individuals
