Many workers lack social protection programs and services, especially workers in the informal sector, including construction workers, and as a result of the effects resulting from the Corona pandemic and the transformation that occurred in the entire world, this called for the need to expand the umbrella of social protection to include all groups in all societies and work sectors. Therefore, it was necessary to research and study the requirements for achieving social protection for workers in the informal sector in light of the Corona pandemic, and to identify the obstacles that impede achieving protection for workers in the informal sector in light of the Corona pandemic, and to reach some proposed mechanisms to achieve social protection for workers in the informal sector. Official in light of the Corona pandemic from the perspective of generalist practice in social work. According to its objectives, The study relied on the scientific method using the sample social survey method, and represented the spatial domain of the study in a sample of (41) construction workers in the new city of Assiut. 12/2/ 2022 AD until 20/2/ 2022 AD.
