Abstract: The study aimed to achieve several goals, including determining the level of digital social capital for students of social work, as well as determining the impact of using Facebook on the development of students' social capital, To achieve these goals, the researcher followed the descriptive study pattern using the sample survey method for students of the fourth grade at the Faculty of Social Work at Helwan University and the Higher Institute of Social Work in Cairo, where the sample size was 365 students, and the results confirmed that the level of digital social capital for students is high, The results also confirmed the existence of a statistically significant effect of the use of Facebook on the development of social capital for students of social work, where there was a significant effect for the indicators (what Facebook represents for the student, the data that appears on the student’s page, the pages the student follows) while there is no effect Statistically significant for the other indicators.
