The issue of consumption is a complicated societal issue with many dimensions, aspects and factors, and it has become a danger not only at the level of the individual and the family, but also at the level of the national economy. On the other hand, it is not only an economic issue, but in addition to that it represents a socio-cultural issue, and therefore confronting it and reducing its danger requires the concerted efforts of the family and educational, media and religious institutions. Therefore, consumption behavior is one of the topics that have received great attention from scientists and researchers in general, and to identify the factors that affect the behavior of Shape consumption of women in particular. The study aimed to determine the factors affecting the Shape consumption of Saudi women, in order to set a number of conclusions to rationalizing consumption among ladies. The study relied on the social survey method through a simple random sample of (200) female students at the College of Arts at King Faisal University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The study tool was a questionnaire, The study concluded that there are a number of factors affecting the Shape consumption, where the social factors was the first, then the economic factors, and finally the media factors. The results of the study also indicated that there were significant differences between the factors affecting the Shape consumption according to the different variables of the study (place of residence - family income - family size).
