Abstract

The current study aimed to identify (the factors leading to activating the participation of university youth in electronic volunteering to respond to crises, obstacles to the participation of university youth in electronic volunteering to confront crises, mechanisms for activating the participation of university youth in electronic volunteering to confront crises), this study belongs to the descriptive studies where it concluded: A proposed program from the perspective of the social group work method to activate the participation of university youth in electronic volunteering to face crises. The current study relied on a comprehensive social survey approach for the members of the work team in the Student Clubs Department at King Abdulaziz University. The study relied on a questionnaire form prepared by the researcher and applied electronically based on the Google Drive website, and the link to the list was sent to the members of the work team at the Student Clubs Department at King Abdulaziz University. One of the most important results of the current study was that the most important mechanisms for activating the participation of university youth in electronic volunteering were represented in “training volunteers electronically on the work they will be entrusted with,” followed by “providing technological capabilities for volunteers electronically” and “providing luminous models for university youth from electronic volunteers and highlighting them in the media.”
