The relationship between using the spiritual approach and alleviating the phobia of infection with the emerging corona virus (Covid-19) among people with chronic diseases

The study aimed to test the effectiveness of the spiritual approach to alleviating fear, anxiety, and pathological isolation of Corona virus infection phobia among people with chronic diseases, and this study belongs to experimental studies, and the experimental method was used on a sample of (20) patients with chronic disease at Assiut University Hospital, divided into (10) experimental cases And (10) control cases, using interview and measurement tools for the phobia of infection with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), and it came to the conclusion that there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre-measurement scores for the cases of the control and experimental groups on the phobia scale of infection with the emerging corona virus among those with chronic diseases as a whole. There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the post-measurement of the cases of the control and experimental groups on the phobia scale of infection with the emerging coronavirus in favor of the experimental group, and there are no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre and post measurements of the cases of the control group on the phobia scale of infection with the emerging coronavirus among those with chronic diseases There are statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the pre and post measurements for the experimental group cases In favor of the dimensional measurement, it was measured on the phobia scale of infection with the Corona virus.
