Abstract

The present study aims at determining the effectiveness of an counseling program in reducing the aggressive behavior among children using e- games. This study is an experimental one that deployed the tool of children’s aggressive behavior scale (prepared by the researcher). The spatial field of the study is EBS school in Alexandria. The study population included 43 children, 20 of which were chosen after getting the highest score on the scale of children’s aggressive behavior and who met the sampling criteria. They were divided into two groups, consisting of 10 experimental casesand 10 control cases. The current study concluded that the study’s main hypothesis is valid as there are statistically significant differences between the mean score pre and post professional intervention using the counseling program to reduce the aggressive behavior among the children using e- games in both the control and the experimental groups favoring the post measurement in the experimental group. The application of the counseling programled to reduction of aggressive behavior among the children using e- games; for it was reflected on increasing their positive interaction with others such as families and friends and sports and artistic practicing with the help of families and school in order to integrate them more into the social life. The researcher reached a series of recommendations based upon the study results.
